2011 Toronto International Film Festival kick-off

The 36th Toronto International Film Festival runs from Thursday, September 8th to Sunday the 18th this year — 11 days with the world of cinema on our doorstep... :-)

TOfilmfest for 2011

What began as an email-list reaching a few hundred people back in the late 1990's, slowly grew into a website – TOfilmfest.ca – by 2005.
In 2009, our re-design was provided by a local firm MouthMedia, and it's served us well for the past couple of years — reaching over 50,000 visitors per month, in 2010! :-)

We're still trying to optimize our site for mobile devices – the tiny screens of web-enabled smart-phones are a challenge – and we hope to offer an alternative for all mobile devices soon.

As always, we will be scouring the internet looking for reviews, interviews, videos, images, and links – to help everyone 'pick the best of the fest!'
